School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), Ahmedabad University is offering two year
M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a specialization in 'Data Science and
Analytics'.

Intake: Twenty (20)
Admissions: Admissions for the year 2017 will be managed by Ahmedabad University. Students should click on https://ahduni.edu.in/seas/academics/mtech-programme to apply online.
The programme will offer one year research / industry based dissertation work to the student.
To graduate, the student must complete all academic requirements including dissertation in three years after getting the admission.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria: Candidate should have passed any one of the following:
Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/ Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in ICT or allied disciplines such as CS / IT / EE / EC from a recognized university.
M.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Mathematics /Physics
MCA Degree (3 Year Programme) The aggregate marks in the qualifying degree should be minimum 60% or equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA). Candidates appearing for the final semester/year may also apply.
Selection Procedure: Admission to MTech is open to those who have a valid GATE score in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation / Physics / Mathematics.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the valid GATE score of the applicant. List of short-listed candidates, in the order of merit on valid GATE score will be posted on the website.
Financial Assistance: Interviews will be conducted for the students with valid GATE score and admitted to M.Tech. in CSE. Selected candidates will be provided monthly financial assistance of Rs. 12,000 (Rupees Twelve Thousand) per month during Monsoon and Winter semesters in the form of Teaching Assistantship (TA-ship).
MTech (CSE) Research Internships / Placements: Students pursue their one year Research internship at esteemed organisations like ABB, COVIAM, ISRO, eInfochips as well as with faculty members of SEAS - AU. Students are placed at Coviam, eInfochips, eClinical Works, IQM, Milestone Internet, SPEC–INDIA etc. The average salary offered is Rs. 4.08 Lakhs per annum and the maximum salary offered is Rs. 9 Lakhs per annum.
